The Stitchographie Process:
Each Stitchographie piece is hand-cut from heavy cold-pressed watercolour stock and the design is lightly sketched carefully by hand. Then, each hole is hand-pierced and the sketch is erased. Each stitch is created by hand. Several hours are spent creating each piece, increasing with the complexity of the design. Lastly, another piece of cold-pressed watercolour stock is affixed to the back, both to protect the stitching and for finishing purposes. Each piece is signed and dated on the back by the artist, Delaney Gates. Your art will be created in the presence of lots of love, good company and most likely a cafeinated beverage, infusing it with the character that only a handmade piece of art can have.
Your Stitchographie piece will be sent in a stiff cardboard mailer via USPS First Class Mail with a tracking number within three business days of received payment.
